Silence and Perfection / Creative Imagination / Responsibility and Steady Effort
After the upswing and healing that came about in many ways during 2013, the more inner focused energies of this year are a bit disconcerting, but necessary.
Last year saw both celebration and frustration…sometimes related to the same issue. On the larger scale, we can look at health care to see how this played out. In our individual experiences there seemed to be a finding of our level. While much is improved, whenever any part of our lives changes or is “pared away” there is discomfort and the resultant scarring can require patience to get back to full use.
2014 carries exactly the kind of energy that allows us to recover from change and reshaping. It is a quieter time, but at the deepest level even more important to take us toward a greater good.
Interestingly, in the healing process there is the time when it becomes necessary for each of us to become more internally focused. This is required to assess and re-evaluate how the changes impact us. “What can I still do the same way? What have I had to modify and how can I get most comfortable and competent in using the modification? What have I had to let go of? With what do I fill the space left by whatever has gone?” These are questions that have to be answered and practices that need to be implemented before we can be back to optimum.
People will not be so much disconnected from one another as separate. Living life in one’s own way, reserved and dignified, while refining one’s own approach. We will find ourselves often apart even when in a crowd. This is not a bad thing; it is exactly what will help us become more tolerant, aware and accepting of others as we find tolerance and acceptance of self.
The energy of “7” is an introverted energy. Even extroverts will find that they need moments alone; time to reflect, meditate and figure out what is next. It is a time of allowing each another to go on our own journeys. We will find ourselves becoming more selective about the people, the experiences, and the things we really want in our lives.
The difficulty and challenge of this year will come from the protective walls that go up as we each begin to limit our affiliations to a select few who are very important to us. We may feel that we are on a different wavelength from many who we have interfaced with often in the past. Interestingly, this is not a time of judgment, but rather a time of allowing differences and accepting that there is no “one” right path. When approached from a higher place, this opens the door for diversity that can ultimately result in stepping outside of our various “boxes” and finding new solutions to living on this planet together.
It will require each of us to be willing to investigate and research to decide what is our best path to take. Most importantly, we will have to allow others the same opportunity. There may be less inclination to teamwork as each person works to find her self at a deeper level. For those who choose a path of awareness, there will be understanding of what is going on and a reserved calm will allow us to remember that love and tenderness are still an important part of how we interface with others. Those who are less aware may struggle with skepticism about the future and whether life is improving. Being willing to give and receive recognition and appreciation will help to ameliorate some of the tension.
Self-control is key to this time. Tapping into our creativity and using our imagination in ways that allow us to look at options from different perspectives before taking action will be helpful. However, action must be taken. Connecting to our intuition to tell us when it is time to move from pensive consideration to loving deeds is essential to traveling through this coming year.
Time spent in nature will be the most magical healing source that we can have. Limiting the confusion and noise of the city to take moments in the arms of the natural environment will be essential. This will give us the opportunity to appreciate and find ways to preserve the earth; first in small ways in our own experience, and then letting that appreciation move outward to encompass the whole.
Be at peace with the need to draw within during this year. Allow everyone else the same. When we come out on the other side of 2014, may we each be more centered within self and ready for the coming activity of the next period.
